It’s Christmas week!!! Are you ready? Are all of your gifts bought? Wrapped? Shipped? Are you driving far this holiday season? Are you staying home? Are you working? Are you getting to see your family? Are you spending the holiday alone? Will the weather cooperate so you can get to where you need to be and do what you need to do? Are you on Santa’s naughty list or his nice list??
I don’t know about you but the holidays are super stressful for me! My full time job is at a hospital and most the time I wind up working Christmas Eve or Day. This year I am off Christmas Eve but I have to work Christmas Day. Luckily for me my family does our big family Christmas on Christmas Eve but that means getting up that morning (I also have to work that day before) driving three hours to my parents, celebrating, and then driving three hours home so I can get up at 4:30am and go to work on Christmas Day. Ughhhh. I don’t even want to think about it.
One thing I do get excited about this time of year is getting out and having fun with my friends. Sometimes I just need to get out of my house, put on some real clothes and not think about the stresses of the holiday season. I am a single lady and while I do actually really enjoy spending time alone sometimes it’s nice to get out and hang with friends. I don’t know what your weather situation is but in Arkansas it is really freaking cold right now and that makes me not want to leave my house AT ALL. Ughhhhh.
Luckily for me the weather cooperated a little bit the other night and I was able to go hang with my fellow Arkansas Women Bloggers at The Pop Pop Shoppe in Little Rock. We got to hang out, eat way too much yummy popcorn and just talk. It was so much fun!!

We also got to shop and I think I came home with more of my fair share of popcorn! I plan on eating some and then giving some as gifts. So see? it was the perfect opportunity to hang with friends and get some last minute shopping done! I love when that happens…HA!
We also got to try all the popcorn flavors the Pop Pop Shoppe offers! I don’t know about you but I am a popcorn addict, I swear I go to the movies so much just for the movie popcorn, and I loved trying all of these yummy flavors! My favorites are White Chocolate, Pickle Pop, and Rajun Cajun!

It’s also fun to just grab some regular popcorn and top it at the topping station! There are so many fun toppings to choose from, I even saw some crushed up Oreos!! YUM!! I am definitely a salty mixed with my sweet kind of girl!!

…and then they just have their popcorn flavors in different size bags. Pop Pop Shoppe popcorn would be perfect to have at any holiday gathering this year! I know my sister bought the Confetti flavor for my nieces birthday party and I had some at my Girl’s Game Night In and it was a big hit at both parties!!

So all in all I had a fantastic night at The Pop Pop Shoppe hanging out with my bloggy friends, drinking wine, shopping and eating yummy popcorn but it wouldn’t be a blogging event without giving something away right? So today I am giving away a $40 gift basket to one lucky central Arkansas resident!!
