I love February. Not only is it both mine and Abraham Lincoln’s birthday (birthday twins!!) it’s the month of loooooove aka Valentine’s Day!! I have always loved Valentine’s Day even if I’ve only ever had a Valentine a couple times in my almost 34 years. What can I say? I’m chronically single and that doesn’t bother me one single bit.

I don’t know about you but when I think about Valentine’s Day I think about sweet treats. If I’m being honest, I think about sweet treats all the time but especially around this time of year.
McDonald’s has some really fun strawberry treats that are perfect to celebrate Valentine’s Day with, whether you are celebrating alone, with your man, or with your friends. I mean, who doesn’t love strawberries??

One of my favorite strawberry treats from McDonald’s is the Strawberry Shake. I really got turned on to these a couple months ago when I stayed with my niece when my sister had surgery. We were leaving the hospital after seeing my sister post-op and my sweet P cried a few tears (which made me cry a few tears because she was so dang sweet) and when I asked what would make her feel better she promptly said “a strawberry milkshake from McDonald’s with TWO cherries” and so that’s what we did. We dried our tears, grabbed some milkshakes, headed home and life was good again.

Another of my favorite sweet treats from McDonald’s is the Strawberry Pie! When it’s cold outside you just can’t beat the warm, strawberry gooiness of a hot Strawberry Pie!! Who cares if I usually wind up with it dripping down my face or my shirt it is totally worth it!
Side note- the Strawberry Pie may be best if eaten alone or with friends, definitely not your man. HA!

And last, but most certainly not least, is the Strawberry Sundae. Who doesn’t love a sundae? I love McDonald’s Ice Cream any time of the year but when it comes with strawberry sauce drizzled all over the top of it?? YAS!!! All the praise hands!!! You can even add nuts to it, YUM!
And there you have it folks, my favorite oh so sweet strawberry treats from McDonald’s. Don’t forget that small Strawberry Shakes are $2 all day long!! YUM!!
